1. Estimates and Pricing
All estimates provided are based on the scope of work described at the time of inquiry. We provide:
- Free estimates for most residential and commercial jobs in the Portland Metro Area.
- A minimum service charge of $99 per pick-up.
- Final pricing based on volume, weight, type of materials, and accessibility of the items.
- Clear pricing with no hidden fees unless the scope of work changes on-site.
2. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure safe and efficient service, the customer agrees to:
- Provide clear and safe access to the items or area to be cleaned out.
- Keep children, pets, and unauthorized persons away from the work area during service.
- Disclose any hazardous materials (e.g., paint, chemicals, asbestos) prior to service — hazardous waste removal may require additional handling and fees.
- Ensure they have legal authority or ownership over the property and items to be removed.
3. Scheduling and Cancellations
We make every effort to arrive within the scheduled time window. The following applies to scheduling:
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled service to avoid a cancellation fee.
- Same-day appointments are subject to availability and may carry an additional fee.
- We reserve the right to reschedule in the event of severe weather or other safety concerns.
4. Prohibited Items
For safety and regulatory reasons, New Era Dump Trailers LLC does not remove the following:
- Hazardous waste, chemicals, or biohazardous materials.
- Asbestos-containing materials.
- Motor oil, fuels, or flammable liquids.
- Medical or pharmaceutical waste.
If prohibited items are discovered on-site, we reserve the right to decline the job or adjust the quote accordingly.
5. Liability
New Era Dump Trailers LLC takes reasonable care during all service operations. We are not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage to driveways, lawns, or structures.
- Items mistakenly included in removal that were not clearly identified as to be kept.
- Damage resulting from inaccessible or unsafe work conditions not disclosed prior to service.
Customers are encouraged to clearly mark or separate items they wish to keep before our crew arrives.
6. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of service. We accept:
- Cash, credit/debit cards, and other forms agreed upon in advance.
- Invoices for commercial accounts are due within 15 days of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Washington County, Oregon.
